The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued a nationwide waiver to give states and school districts more time and flexibility to plan for the 2022-2023 school year. States must publish a list of eligible schools, near eligible schools (schools with 30 to 40 percent identified students), and currently participating schools and school districts by June 30, 2022. School districts have until September 30, 2022, to opt in for the 2022-2023 school year. Click on a state to be directed to the state agency's website where you can download a copy of that state's list. If your state has not posted their list yet, please check back. FRAC will be continuing to update the map as more states post their lists.

The "battlefield" also has a corporate expression in a culture that has lost its way and has been deeply infected by the structures of sin. It is into this sinful, lust obsessed, utilitarian, hedonistic and mechanistic culture that we Christians are now sent on mission. The joy and beauty of sexuality is part of our message of freedom for the contemporary captives. It is also one of the significant contributions that the Christian Church has to offer to an age that has lost its way in a sea of sexual counterfeits that reduce the human body, male and female, to objects of use.
We encourage all eligible families to submit a new application for free and reduced price meals prior to the start of each new school year. Applications are accepted anytime throughout the school year.
No. The ALA's Office for Intellectual Freedom (OIF) receives reports from libraries, schools, and the media on attempts to ban books in communities across the country. We compile lists of challenged books in order to inform the public about censorship efforts that affect libraries and schools. The ALA condemns censorship and works to ensure free access to information. For more information on ALA's efforts to raise awareness of censorship and promote the freedom to read, please explore Banned Books Week.

Service work can be performed in medical and non-medical settings, and both are considered desirable. As mentioned above, medical schools value volunteering in a free clinic, nursing home, hospital, or hospice. Spending time in non-clinical settings, such as a soup kitchen, a tutoring program, or helping to build homes for those who are less fortunate, also demonstrates a commitment to serve.
This can take the form of doctor shadowing, volunteering in a free clinic, or working abroad in some capacity. Some applicants have difficulty getting accepted to medical school because they have no exposure to patient care.
All certificate-eligible participants may download a free PDF copy of their certificate as outlined on our Credential Verification page. These digital certificates will become available in the weeks following the final deadline of your course after eligibility is determined.
